Frequently Asked Questions
The Saviynt Exchange Marketplace is a curated catalog featuring applications and solutions that are focused on identity security. Its purpose is to significantly extend and enhance your existing identity ecosystem. It provides a platform for current customers to efficiently discover, thoroughly evaluate, and confidently purchase vetted identity applications offered by Saviynt, our ecosystem of trusted partners and the community.
The marketplace primarily features two main component types: Apps and Solutions. These are designed to cover various needs within the identity security ecosystem, from core integration capabilities to comprehensive solutions & services.
An App is essentially a modular software component or package designed to either enhance, extend, or seamlessly integrate with the core Saviynt Identity Cloud. These components are developed by various entities, including Saviynt, Technology Partners, and the Community, and are readily available for integration with the Saviynt Identity Cloud platform.
Solutions represent bundled offerings specifically structured to address distinct business challenges. A key characteristic is that a Services component is always included. These are provided collaboratively by Saviynt and Services Partners, such as Systems Integrators, Managed Services Companies, and Resellers.
The current App types available encompass several essential categories:
- Connectors - Flexible frameworks for seamless communication with external systems for account and access data reconciliation and provisioning. This also includes Single Sign-on and ID Proofing & Verification apps.
- SoD Rulesets - Policies for enforcing Separation of Duties compliance
- API Integrations - Apps utilizing Saviynt APIs
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Automation tools such as the Saviynt Terraform Provider
- Extensions - Java components that extend Saviynt with specialized business logic or integrations.
The available Solutions include Accelerators (pre-configured packages to speed up implementation), Legacy Migrations (solutions assisting in the transition from older IGA systems), Managed Services (ongoing management and support from Saviynt certified partners) and Quick Starts.
Apps are categorized into three distinct types:
- Saviynt Developed: Developed and supported directly by Saviynt representing the highest quality standard.
- Partner Developed: Developed by trusted partners and validated for quality. Contact partner for support
- Community Developed: Developed by wider community developers. These apps are provided "as is" with troubleshooting and usage guidance available for the core frameworks or connectors (REST, SOAP, JDBC, LDAP, PowerShell, Extensions, Connector Framework or APIs). These apps are supported primarily through the community channels such as Saviynt forums, user groups, and other community-driven platforms where members can share knowledge.
Saviynt Certified refers exclusively to partner developed apps that go through a rigorous certification process set up by Saviynt. These apps are supported by the Partners.
To achieve Saviynt Certification, a partner's application undergoes a comprehensive review by the Saviynt team. The review is a multi-faceted process that includes use case validation, application design and architecture assessment, code review, followed by an end-to-end functional demonstration. Once reviewed and approved, the app is officially listed on the marketplace and displays the 'Saviynt Certified' badge. It is also required that the app be recertified following any major Saviynt platform release or significant app update.
Support is generally provided directly by the partners. However, for a select few apps, a shared support model is utilized, where Saviynt provides L1 support and the Technology Partner handles L2/L3 support.

App pricing and licensing vary based on the App type and the Developer. While some are included in standard licenses, others require direct coordination with third-party partners.

- Partner Developed Apps: Applications developed by authorized partners. (Note: You must contact the partner directly for specific pricing information).
- Community Developed Apps: Applications developed by the Saviynt community.
SoD rulesets are bundled into the AAG product license. As long as the target application is licensed, the corresponding rulesets are available at no extra cost.
Yes. To provide maximum flexibility, the following are excluded from the App license count and are considered part of the core product:
- The app is a commercially available product that is purchased directly from Saviynt.
- The app is a feature that is considered part of our core platform and has been procured as part a platform purchase.
