IdentityForge connector for EPIC (EMP)

The IdentityForge Epic Connector (EMP records) is a flexible and generic connector that utilizes WSDL discovery to dynamically build objects, attributes, and interfaces. This enables the connector to automatically adapt to API changes across different Epic versions, both current and future, while effectively managing the user lifecycle. When the LDAP gateway starts, it parses the Epic WSDL file and maps the UpdateUser SOAP request elements to an LDAP gateway objectClass and its attributes. Incoming LDAP requests are then routed through the LDAP gateway to the Epic connector for translation. The connector validates the received objects and attributes from the LDAP request, ensuring consistency. Some attributes have complex structures and are therefore processed in their native XML format, validated against XSDs. These XSDs are derived from the Epic WSDL file, stripped of namespaces to ensure seamless integration.
